Dorothy Helen Schwartz-Hensel

Dorothy H. Schwartz-Hensel, 96 years old, passed away on February 2, 2024 with family by her side.

Dorothy joins her two beloved husbands, Frank Schwartz and Norman Hensel, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, survived by her devoted son, Kenneth Schwartz and cherished by three adoring grandchildren, Brian (Pam) Schwartz , Karen (Jeff) Bismack, & Mark Schwartz. She also has 2 great grandchildren, Tyler Bismack and Leah Schwartz.

Dorothy's nurturing spirit and enduring love will forever be etched in our hearts, creating many beautiful memories that we will hold dear. She was always a caretaker and wanted everyone to be cared for, up until her last days. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of her loved ones who went before her.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Our Lady Consolata Catholic Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. The burial will be private in the church cemetery in Sebewaing.

In lieu of flowers, Dorothy's wishes were for donations to be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
