Dorothy Storm, age 89, passed away peacefully at Brians House in Davison on Sunday, November 30, 2008, following a brief illness. Dorothy was born April 10, 1919 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Pollak. She was united in marriage with Frank Storm on September 22, 1940 in Angola, Indiana. They moved to Unionville in 1945 from Akron and eventually to Caro in 1957. Frank preceded Dorothy in death after nearly forty-one years of marriage on August 18, 1981. Dorothy moved to Capac to be with her daughter in 2002. During her time in Caro, she was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church and also enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family, cooking, baking, sewing, bowling, and tending to her flower garden. Dorothy is survived by three children and their spouses, James & Evelyn Storm of Carsonville, Sandra & Ed Carpenter of Capac, Frank & Karen Storm of Unionville; nine grandchildren and their spouses, James M. & Sue Storm of Carsonville, Craig & Bridget Storm of Clifford, Christopher R. & Cathy Storm of Marlette, Lance M. & Lourdes Romain of Macomb, Dawn R. Cloutier of Fraser, Shane G. Romain of Palm Springs, California, Jenny M. & Jason Walther of Three Rivers, Kevin M. & Jennifer Storm of Gagetown and Jeff A. Storm & Kari Lowe of Gagetown; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Gus Miklovic of Caro; one sister-in-law, Veleria Haack of Grand Haven and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Frank, Dorothy was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruth Malik, Ella Miklovic, Ann Bonacorsi, Mary Sullivan and by one grandson, Ryan Lee Storm on November 1, 2004.
