Douglas B. Lane

Douglas B. Lane, age 98, of Akron, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro.

Douglas was born in Plymouth, Michigan. He grew up as a child in Bellevue, Michigan. After attending school through the 8 ^th grade he went to work to help the family. He was a Veteran serving in WWII. He married Gerry, and they spent many happy years together. He worked as an Oil Fuel Specialist working on oil wells.

Douglas is survived by his friend Laura Doud and her family in Akron. There are no other known surviving family members.

A private burial is planned at Wisner Township Cemetery, Wisner, Michigan.
