Edna H. Schulz, 95, of Pigeon, died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.
Edna was born November 16, 1921 in Kilmanagh to the late Walter and Ida (Menzel) Lutat. She married William Schulz on Novmeber 28, 1942 in Elkton; he preceded her in death on May 26, 1987.
She was an active member of Cross Lutheran Church, having been a Sunday school teacher and ladies group member. She helped on the family farm and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She is survived by her sons Ronnie (Bonnie) of Pigeon, Dale (Christine) of Florida, Wayne of Sterling Heights and Gary (Doralee) of Pigeon; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren with one more due in January; and 1 great-great-grandson; and her sister Florence Iddings of Pinnebog. She was preceded in death by her sister Hannah Bouverette and brothers Arnold and Otto Lutat.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, July 8th at Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Loehrke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Friday at 7436 Paul Street, Pigeon (formerly the Meyersieck property). She will lie in-state one hour prior to services in church on Saturday. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the services.
