Edward B. Amann, age 90, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Courtney Manor Nursing Home in Bad Axe.
Edward was born January 6, 1927, in Pontiac, to the late William and Eva (Ainsworth) Amann. He is a WWII veteran of the United States Navy serving on an aircraft carrier. He married Joyce Thompson. He worked as a lineman for Bell Telephone. He enjoyed growing vegetables (giving them away to his friends in the neighborhood), growing flowers, fishing, and made model airplanes and boats.
Edward is survived by his wife, Joyce; children: William (Lolita) Amann and James (Pam) Amann; sister, Mary Cox; granddaughter, Lane Amann; and nieces and nephews.
Edward is preceded in death by his daughter, Kay Lynn Amann; brother, William Amann; and grandson, Joseph Amann.
Per Edwards wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations may be given to the family.
