Edward James Champagne 45, from Indianapolis, IN formerly of Huron county, passed away July 20, 2003 from injuries sustained in a motor cycle accident. He was born March 30, 1958 to Virginia and Ervin Champagne. He graduated from Laker High School in 1976. He also served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his sons.
He is survived by his three sons Chad (Shalyn), Edward Jr., and Eric, one grandson Ashton. His mother Virginia. Five sisters and two brothers: Mary (Tom) Nelson, Richard (Margaret) Champagne, Joseph (Kathy) Champagne, Connie (Ron) Kuch, Kathy Champagne, Beverly (Dean) Osentoski, Susie (Steve) Ellery. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He preceded in death by his brother Ervin, his father Ervin, and grandparents Joseph and Martha Champagne and Joseph and Ann Redmond.
Funeral services will be conducted in Indianapolis.
