Elaine A. Mason

Elaine Ann Mason, 82, of Caseville died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.

She was born March 2, 1936 in Detroit to the late Nicholas and Ann Sieradzki.  She graduated from Detroit Pershing High School and Macomb Community College.  She retired as a school bus driver for Utica Schools.  She moved to Caseville in 1998.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish and the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary.

Elaine is survived by her husband William Robert Howard; children Colleen Kerry (Bob Krall) of Caseville, Mark (Jennifer) Mason of Clay Twp, Mike (Molly) Mason of Metamora and Angel Mason of Bay City; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte Macey and grandchildren Kristine and Christopher Jr.

A funeral mass will be 10:00am Saturday at St. Roch Catholic Church with Fr. Theo Nnabugo presiding.  Burial will be in Caseville Twp Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton.  Memorials may be made to the hospice of the donor’s choosing.
