Elaine N. Seibel

Elaine N. Seibel, age 82, of Gagetown, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, peacefully at her home.

Elaine was born July 10, 1933, in Unionville, to the late Leorie and Ruth (Dickinson) Demo. She graduated in 1951 from Unionville High School. On July 18, 1953, she married Harold E. Siebel in Unionville. He passed away November 11, 1994. Elaine served as Elmwood Township Clerk for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and flower gardening.

Elaine is survived by her children: David Seibel of Gagetown, Richard Seibel of Sebewaing, Connie (Richard) Seward of Bay Port and Michael Seibel of Unionville; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 3 sisters-in-law: Dorothy Schmuck, Betty Bauer and Donna (David) Sting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Ronald Seibel and sister, Jeannine Hobart.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-8pm.

A private burial service will take place Friday, June 10, 2016, at St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery.
