Elaine Westfall

Elaine C. Westfall, age 66, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born August 9, 1944 in Caro, the daughter of Lynn & Margaret (Baer) Robinson, and was a lifelong area resident. Elaine was united in marriage with Charles Westfall on January 31, 1962 at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death in 1997. Elaine was employed at several retail stores during her working career, but will be best remembered working behind the meat counter at the Fairgrove Market. She was an active member of the Akron United Methodist Church as well as being its organist. Elaines passions in life were her family, her motorcycle and bowling. She will be sadly missed by her family, church community and countless friends. Surviving Elaine are four children and their spouses, Brian & Dawn Westfall of Clio, Jill & Greg “Grumpy” Fessler of Caro, Kelly & Troy Fuerst of Sebewaing, Becky & Joe Oszust of Reese; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Margaret Robinson of Caro; one brother, John Robinson of Caro; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Elaine was preceded by her father Lynn Robinson and niece, Anne Klammer.
