Eldon "Butch" Bills, Jr. of Fairgrove, age 78, passed away at his home, on Friday, November 12, 2021, surrounded by his family. Butch was born February 19, 1943 in Akron, the son of the late Eldon, Sr. & Florence (Ordway) Bills. On August 13, 1988, Butch married the love of his life, Janet Frasier, and she preceded him in death on October 19, 2017. Butch, a retired forklift operator from Sebewaing Industries, loved to dance, especially with the love of his life. Butch was a true "card shark" and loved playing euchre and poker. He knew when to "hold ‘em or when to fold ‘em." He was a master bluffer and knew how to build the pot. When you think of the perfect poker face, you think of Butch. He was a real prince charming, a flirt, and a smooth talker that enjoyed a good country western movie and Hank Williams music. Through the years, he was a champion of euchre, poker shooting pool, and liked going to casinos. To fill in between his casino trips, he enjoyed scratch-off lotto tickets. Butch was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Rod-Relics Car Club, where he loved cruising in his '68 Ford Fairlane and attending car shows. He was a "snowbird," enjoying the Florida sunshine with family and friends at Leisure Lake Park. Butch was a proud father and grandfather. Left to cherish his memory are his children and their spouses, Ralph & Carolyn Bills of Fairgrove, Pam & Dave Dillon of Unionville, Eldon, III & Kimmy Bills of St. Charles, Kathy & Fred Nunez of California, Kellie Castaneda of Indiana, Kimberly Honey of Saginaw, and Mick Frasier of Lupton; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one brother and his wife, Floyd & Charlene Bills of Port Huron. In addition to his parents and wife, Eldon was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Haley; and six siblings, Charles Bills, Asa Bills, Robert Bills, Marge Proper, Elnora Hawley and Margaret Bills; and step-father, Carl Cousens.
