Eleanor Ann Mckenna

Eleanor Ann McKenna, 86, of Caseville, died February 16, 2014 at her home.

Eleanor was born May 6, 1927 in Detroit to the late Carl and Sarah (Montgomery) Plotts. She lived in Detroit and worked at J.L. Hudson’s where she met her future husband George T. McKenna. They were married on June 23, 1962 at St. Roch Catholic Church. George preceded her in death on March 19, 1994.

She moved to Caseville in 1964 and with her husband owned and operated the Caseville Bay Party Store on Main Street until retiring in 1987. Later she became as Certified Nurses Aid and did private duty nursing. She was a former member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons Timothy (Tina) McKenna of Caseville, Thomas of Skandia, and Patrick (Delia) of Caseville; and grandchildren Amanda and Thomas Jr. of Brighton.

A memorial mass will be at 10 am Saturday, March 1st at St. Roch in Caseville.
