Eleanor Wilson

Eleanor Wilson, age 87, of Elkton, died Thursday, December 2, at the Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe of renal failure.
She was born August 30, 1917 in Chandler Township at the home of her parents the late Obed and Ossa (Morell) Wilson.
Eleanor was a lifelong area resident and worked for 10 years at Progress-Advance Elkton office, and Thumme Insurance for 30 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Chandler Presbyterian Church and Guild, and the Elkton Senior Citizens and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star #431, Elkton.
Surviving are her brothers, Robert (Marie) Wilson of Pinnebog, Gerald Wilson of Unionville, and Vernon (Marlene) Wilson of Caro and many nieces and nephews. Her brothers John, Elmer and Jim Wilson preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 4, at the Chandler Presbyterian Church. Rev. DeWeerd Smith will officiate with burial in Chandler Twp. Cemetery.
