Elinor M. Moyer

Elinor M. Moyer of Caro, age 68, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Elinor was born July 12, 1953 in Caro, the daughter of the late William N. & Elizabeth H. (Hadi) Force. She graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1971 and worked for a brief time at Midwest Rotary in Caro. Later, she began a fifteen year career at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community as a certified nursing assistant. Elinor also served as manager of Caro Mobile Estates for over thirty years. She was a life member of the Caro VFW Auxiliary where she was active with Bingo, Junior Girls Unit, and was currently serving as chapter president. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and the art of adult coloring books. In her earlier years, Elinor was an accomplished bowler and softball player. Elinor is survived by one brother and his wife, Francis “Butch” & Quyless Force of Florida; special friend, Dee Kratz of Caro; five nieces, nephews, and their spouses, Mark Force of Florida, Michelle & Jay Demo of Florida, Darci LaPratt of Caro, Staci Force of Cheboygan, and Dalyn & Doug Weller of Washington. In addition to her parents, Elinor was preceded in death by two siblings, David Force and Merry Force. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. David Wilczynski officiating. Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. Elinors family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. A VFW Auxiliary Service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Caro VFW Auxiliary or Anchor Cove Church in Caro.
