Elizabeth H. Deeg

Elizabeth "Liz" H. Deeg, age 72, of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Courtney Manor Nursing Home.

Elizabeth was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 29, 1944, to John and Jesse (Nelson) Ross. She was raised in Canada and still holds her Canadian citizenship. She married William Deeg on October 25, 20005 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She was proud of her janitorial job at Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing. She enjoyed golfing, boating, gambling, traveling, fishing, going out to lunch, cooking and reading People magazine.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Deeg; children: Holli (John) Rhodes of Bad Axe, William (Chris) Tudrick of Lathrop Villiage and Kenneth (Drea) Tudrick of Croswell; step children: Sandra Deeg of Bay City and Beverly Terwilliger of Pigeon; brother, Norman Ross; sister, Elaine Gibel; grandchildren: Paige Rhodes, Lila Tudrick and Nolan Tudrick.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, some siblings, and a granddaughter, Caitlyn Rhodes.

Per Elizabeth's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial visitation and service will be held Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will be from 2-6 with a service at 5pm.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
