Elizabeth Hennes

Elizabeth Jean Hennes, age 94, of Huron Dunes near Port Austin, died Sunday, November 17, at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe.
She was born January 16, 1908, in Lake Linden, U.P. at the home of her parents, the late Theodore and Alice (Graham) Hennes.
Miss Hennes was a schoolteacher in the Detroit School System retiring in 1970. She moved to her cottage at Huron Dunes a short time later.
She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be conducted 10:30 AM Thursday, November 21, at St Bonaventure Catholic Church, Detroit where friends may call one hour prior to the mass. Burial will take place at Mt. Elliott Cemetery, Detroit and memorials may be given to the Capuchin Missions.
