Elizabeth Rose Mcleod

Elizabeth Rose McLeod, 85, of Pigeon, died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.

Elizabeth was born January 17, 1932 in Pigeon to the late Martin and Frances (Rujer) Karle. She married Donald McLeod on April 25, 1953 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Pigeon; he preceded her in death March 24, 2011. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and being a mom to her family.

She is survived by her children Judy Palermo of West Bloomfield, Linda (Danny) Bieri of Caseville, Donald of Pigeon and David of Pigeon; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her six siblings.

A mass of resurrection will be 11:00am Wednesday, January 3rd at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church/OLPH in Pigeon with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-8pm Tuesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Elkton.
