Elizabeth Ann Walk

Elizabeth Ann Walk of Pigeon, formerly of Mayville, age 72, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon. Elizabeth was born August 3, 1947 in Pontiac. After completing her education, Elizabeth began a long, fulfilling career as a pediatric ventilator nurse. Always committed to providing the highest standard of care to each and every one of her patients, she will be remembered by her family and colleagues as a devoted, thorough caregiver to all those she served over the years. Elizabeth was a faithful follower of Jimmy Swaggart and could often be found listening to his sermons on television. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, canning, and crocheting, but her greatest passion in life was babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are six children, Charles Klinesmith, Jeff Klinesmith, Beth Valentine & her husband, Michael, Autumn Roberts, Ben Klinesmith, Amber May; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Lisa & Ed Lyons, Alma & Don Wheeler, Marie "Tiny" & John Delisle, Juanita Tait, Gerald & Sandy Vanderpool, Susan Jando, Frederick Rodriguez, and Peggy Gorsline. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Strassburg; three brothers, Peter, John, and Montgomery "Sunny"; and three sisters, Ginger, Marquetta, and Mary. In keeping with Elizabeth's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date. Information will be posted to this website as it becomes available.
