Ella Lorine Orton

Ella Lorine (Johnson) Orton of Gagetown, age 61, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at McLaren - Port Huron. Ella was born March 2, 1960 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of the late Carroll and Virginia (Jacquays) Johnson. She was united in marriage with Darrell Orton on June 10, 1994 in Caro, and he survives. Ella was employed as assistant manager at Dollar Tree in Bad Axe, and attended the Gagetown Church of the Nazarene, Ella enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and time spent with family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Darrell Orton of Gagetown; three children, Heidi Scott and partner, Chanda Snow, of North Carolina, Jennifer Orton of Gagetown, Rodney Orton and Nicole Klein of Gagetown; daughter-in-law, Melissa Scott of Elk Rapids; grandchildren, Kurt, Molly, Jayden, Emma, Ethan, Kyree, Skylee and Zakkary; and her dog, Lilly. In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by one son, Nathan Scott; step-son, Kurt Mitchell Orton; granddaughter, Lillian Scott; sister, Judith Grimins; brother, Richard Clark; and her biological father.
