Elsie C. Engelhardt

Elsie C. Engelhardt (Bernhardt), age 91, of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011. Elsie was born December 6, 1919 in Detroit to John & Mary (Essler) Bernhardt. She worked 19 years as a press operator for General Cable in Cass City before retiring in 1981. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, spending time with her loving family, and looking at all her beautiful
flowers.

Elsie is the loving mother of Dennis (Sharon Engelhardt of
Gagetown, Elaine (the late Jim Wildman) Wildman of Sebewaing, and the late Gary & Duane Engelhardt. She is the proud
grandmother of Shelly (Brian) Prich, Theresa Wildman, John (Christina) Engelhardt, Debbie (Paul) Mika, Shiela Pawlak, Lana Sears, and Mickey (Audra) Engelhardt. Great grandmother of Levi Prich, Emmalee Engelhardt, Taylor Craig, Evan Craig, Keith Mika, Ashley Pawlak, Michael Pawlak, Ariana Deering, Madelyn
Engelhardt, and Kyle Engelhardt. Elsie is the dear sister of Sue (the late Edgar) Dinkel of Sebewaing, Pete Bernhardt of Florida, the late Martha (survived by John) Draschil of Sebewaing, the late John Bernhardt, the late Joe Bernhardt, and the late sister-in-laws, Doris & Agnes Bernhardt.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Juengel &
Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-9pm.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation at the church begins at 10am until the time of Mass at 11am.

Burial will take place privately later in the day at Oakwood
Memorial Mausoleum in Saginaw.

Memorial donations may be made to The American Heart
Association or Heartland Hospice.
