Elsie Sheyachich

Elsie Sheyachich, age 82, of Caseville, died Sunday afternoon at the Huron County Medical Care Facility.
She was born July 2, 1921 in Gagetown to the late Jacob and Mary (Kulik) Wickutiaw and moved to Detroit age the age of three.
On April 23, 1941 she was united in marriage to Walter Sheyachich in Detroit. They moved to Warren where they raised their family. Walter preceded her in death June 8, 1992. In 2002, she moved back to the area to be nearer her family.
Elsie was an excellent cook always making tempting goodies for her family, who are all a very important part of her life
She was a past member of St Mark Catholic Church in Warren, attended St. Roch in Caseville and enjoyed plying cards.
Surviving are three children, Jerry (Nancy) Sheyachich of Linden, Mariane (Frank) Briesmeister of Caseville and Shirley Sheyachich of Bad Axe; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and her sister, Anne Keahl of Garden City.
A funeral mass will be conducted 12 noon Tuesday, June 22, at St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Yaroch, pastor will officiate with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
Friends may call at the church after 9 AM Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to the family.
