Emily Jean Boesch

Emily Jean Boesch, age 79, of Sebewaing, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Emily was born August 31, 1938, in Sebewaing, to Edgar and Alfreda (Sting) Boesch. After graduating from High School, she received her Bachelor's Degree by attending Central Michigan University and then graduating from Michigan State University. She worked for Covenant Hospital for over 30 years as a Dietician, specializing in diabetes. Emily enjoyed traveling, seeing new things, enjoyed the "arts", sewing, photography, was an avid reader, and loved being with her family.

Emily is survived by a brother, LeRoy (Lillian) Boesch of Sebewaing; sister, Andre (late Paul) Benson of North Carolina; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Emily is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Alfreda Boesch, and siblings: Dorlee (survived by Jerry) Zeneberg, Vonnie (James) Eberlein, Brice (Pat) Boesch and great niece Haley Mae Boesch.

A memorial service is planned for May 5th from 10:30-2:00 at the Caro Baptist Church, 1535 W. Gilford Rd., Caro, MI 48723. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service and reception immediately following.
