Eric James George

Eric James George, age 60, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully in his chair on May 15, 2018.

Eric was born on May 18, 1957, in Oakland County, Michigan, to James and Ann (Dziedzic). He worked a few years as a foreman for a plastics company and enjoyed working on farms. He liked watching the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Lions. He kept his car meticulously clean and enjoyed animals. Eric LOVED his Sebewaing Community, whether it was a friendly conversation, frequenting the Lamplighter or Peking City Restaurants or renting movies at the Sebewaing Township Library.

Eric is survived by his sisters: Gail Lopez, Sharon Sigler, and Mae E. Strenciwilk; one niece and several nephews.

Eric is preceded in death by his father, James George; mother and step father, Ann and Vladimere Strenciwilk; and brother, Glenn Strenciwilk.

Eric's wishes were for cremation to take place.

Memorial donations may be given to the Sebewaing Township Library or Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
