Ernel Miller

Ernel Ellen Miller, age 88, passed away on June 17, 2010 at her home in Dickinson, Texas. She was born in Caro, Michigan on February 25, 1922 to the late Ernest and Mary Jacot. She married Gerald Everett Miller on February 11, 1939, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Raymond) Kirkpatrick of Dickinson, Texas, Darlene (Terry) Bowen of Woodville, Texas, Virginia (James) Janks of Port Huron, Michigan, Buddy (Maxine) Miller of Caro, Michigan, Elmer (Patsy) Miller of Caro, Michigan and Diane (Ken) Hoppe of Unionville, Michigan; twenty-eight grandchildren, sixty-four great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert (Marie) Jacot of Deford, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Clara Jacot of Silverwood, Michigan; and a special niece, Bonnie Tucker of Kingston, Michigan. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Everett Ernest Miller; a daughter, Connie Smith; two sisters, Nellie Jacot and Loretta Lester; and four brothers, Lyle, Keith, Carmen and Frank Jacot. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro, Michigan on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at East Dayton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
