Ervin S. Moskwa, age 76, of Caseville, died Sunday evening, March 7, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL.
He was born April 27, 1927, in Detroit to the late Thomas and Joanna (Balcerwiak) Moskwa. After high school he join the US Army and served in Germany during WW II returning home in January of 1947.
In 1951, he began working at Chrysler Corp. Warren Stamping, becoming a tool and die maker.
On June 23, 1966 he was united in marriage to Virginia Goelet in Mount Clemens. They built a cottage in Lake Twp. that year and moved to it permanently in December of 1982 when Ervin retired. Virginia passed away September 4, 1984 and was buried at St Roch Cemetery.
He was a member of the St. Roch Catholic Church and the Caseville Eagles.
Surviving are his brother Norbert Moskwa of Hernando, FL and a sister, Virginia Seracki of Maple City.
A funeral mass will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, March 12, at St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Yaroch, pastor will officiate with burial next to his wife in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Caseville from 2 to 8 PM Thursday and at the church after 10 AM Friday.
