Esther Marie Krohn

Esther M. Krohn, age 87, of Lenexa, KS, formerly of Caseville/Elkton area died Wednesday, May 30, at the Ashford Place Nursing Center, Overland Park, KS.
She was born October 19, 1919 in Caseville to the late Otto and Anna (Nagy) Goske. She graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1936 and to moved to Detroit right after high school to attend beauty school.
On March 1, 1942, she was united in marriage to Glenn W. Krohn in Detroit. They lived in the Charlevoix area where they both owned and operated the Style Beauty Shop for over 32 years retiring in 1979. After retiring they began spending their winters in Arizona and more recently they moved to Missouri.Glenn passed away July 9, 2003. With her health failing, she moved near her nephew, Tom Gerds in Lenexa, KS.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Sunday, June 3, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Rev. Daniel Stone, pastor of the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton will officiate with burial in Caseville Twp. Cemetery.
