Esther M. Kurzer

Esther M. Kurzer, age 90, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Esther was born August 27, 1921 in Bach, MI to the late Charles and Katharine (Gettel) Kundinger. On July 12, 1952 she married Melvin C. Kurzer at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bach. Melvin passed away August 1, 1982. Esther enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family, playing with her grandchildren and listening to polka music.

Esther is the loving mother of Shirley (Eric Houthoofd and Raymond (Candra) Kurzer; proud grandmother of AnnaMae (fiancé James Mazunda) Houthoofd, Joshua (friend Jessica Tedhams) Houthoofd and Cody Kurzer; great grandmother of Olivia and Libwe Mazunda; dearest sister of Laura Neuman, Harold Kundinger and the late Clara Dressler; also survived by many nieces and nephews; special friend of Christel Prahl.

Visitation Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 3-9pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

Funeral Friday, June 22, 2012 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bach. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sebewaing.
