Esther Nieschulz

Esther Christina Nieschulz, age 97 of Bad Axe, formerly of Warren, MIchigan, passed away Friday morning, October 5, 2012 at Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe.

Esther was born in Enid, Oklahoma on April 9, 1915, daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Gallandt) Nieschulz, and moved to Michigan in 1927. She worked at Bundy Tubing (now T.I. Automotive) as an inspector.

She is survived by two siblings: Emil Robert William Nieschulz and Jane Evelyn Nieschulz-Bell. Esther is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Martha Nieschulz; and siblings, Clarence Nieschulz, Elmer Edlo Frederick Nieschulz, Arrilla Marie Nieschulz-Heck, Gerhardt Gallandt Frank Nieschulz and Lyle Clare Herman Nieschulz.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 8, 2012 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Berne. Visitation will be at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery, Berne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Partners in Apache Learning, St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Berne or Stephen Bell Memorial Scholarship Fund.
