Ethel Bauer

Ethel Pauline Bauer, age 85, passed away March 8, 2007 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, surrounded by her family. She was born February 17, 1922 in Caro, the daughter of the late Oley Verna (Daymond) Frost. She was united in marriage to Walter Bauer in 1956 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro and the couple was blessed with six children. Walter preceded Ethel in death in 1970. The focus and passion of Ethels life was her family and she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Brenda Bauer of Caro, Donna Bauer Don Donigan of Roswell, NM, Walter Pam Bauer of Midland, Cindy Bauer of Bloomfield Twp; three grandchildren, Stephanie Bauer of Caro, Jennifer Bauer of Flint, and Robert Bauer, Jr. of Caro. She was preceded in death by two children, Kenneth Bauer in 2001 and Robert Bauer, Sr. in 2005; one brother and two sisters, Frederick Frost, Hazel Ross and Margaret Hallmark.
