Eva M. Bannick age 82 of Pigeon died Friday morning, December 31, at Bay Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 20, 1928 at the home of her parents the late Adam and Emma (Osentoski) Pawloski in Sigal Twp.
On June 19, 1948 she was united in marriage to Reinhold Bannick at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elkton. They lived in the Elkton-Pigeon area most of their married life, except for 12 years when they lived and farmed in Sheridan Twp. She had also been employed at Automotive Industries in Owendale for 10 years. Reinhold preceded her in death December 19, 2005
Eva loved having her children and grandchildren around her, she loved to play euchre and to dance, she also enjoyed going to the casino.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Linkville, Ladies Aid and Golden Ager’s at church and Caseville retirement club.

Surviving are five daughters, Donna (Terry) VanDeVoort of Pigeon, Karen Bannick of Bay City, Diane (Gary) Brown of North Port, Gayle (Charlie) Forbing of Bad Axe and Jean (Phil) Myers of Caseville; seven grandchildren, Valerie, Brian, Kevin, Andy, Ryan, Adam and Aaron; four great grandchildren, Kendal, Ava, Alexis and Erica.
Preceding her in death were a brother and sister, Edward Pawloski and Gertrude Gettel.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 4, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Linkville. Rev. Lee Wenskay, pastor will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 6 Sunday, 2 to 8 PM Monday and at the church after 10 AM Tuesday.
