Evelyn "Evy" Priscilla Bolzman, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away May 18, 2016, at the age of 89, after a short illness.
Evelyn was born May 15, 1927, to the late Bert and Hazel (Cummings) Dubs. On August 10, 1946, she married her sweetheart, Lloyd Bolzman at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville.
Evelyn helped Lloyd on the family farm, enjoyed gardening, her roses, baking, cooking and fishing with Lloyd. She was a faithful member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kilmanagh and participated in many church activities and functions. Evelyn had compassion for others and was always there for support and a helping hand.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Lois (Rodney) Bohn and Dale Bolzman of Sebewaing; two grandchildren: James (Jennifer) Bohn of Sebewaing and Bradley Bohn of Nashville, TN; and great grandchildren: Ethan and LeEtta Bohn. Her surviving family members are Henry and Ava Gies, Dorothy Hafner, May Deering, Shirley Dubs, Val Dubs and Wilbert Dubs.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; infant son, Dennis Lloyd; her parents, Bert and Hazel Cummings Dubs, family members: Jim Dubs, Bill Dubs, Betty and Nelson Dunn, Bette Dubs, Ruth and Raymond Heck, Omar Hafner and Delyle Deering, in laws, Ernest and Elsie Thede Bolzman, Raymond and Frances Bolzman, Doris and Herschel Gruehn, Luella and Roland Irrer, Ruth and Joseph Bernhardt.
Visitation will be at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing on Friday, May 20, 2016, from 2-8pm.
The funeral service will be Saturday, May 21, 2016, at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kilmanagh. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial will take place at the church cemetery in Sebewaing.
Memorial may be considered to St. John Lutheran Church in Kilmanagh or Christ the King Lutheran School toward tuition for St. Johns Lutheran Church's students attending CTK.
