Evelyn E. Lanning

Evelyn Emmaline Lanning, 89, of Pigeon, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Evelyn was born December 16, 1931 in Kinde to the late Edward and Emmaline (Greve) Miller. Evelyn met Marvin Lanning when he was stationed at the Port Austin Air Force Base; they married October 24, 1953. They moved to California after his discharge from the military. In 1988 Evelyn and Marvin retired to Huron County and settled in Pigeon.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Edward Miller and three sisters Elizabeth Symons, Betty Lashbrook and Doris Damron and her husband Marvin in 2005.

There will be a private interment at Verona Twp Cemetery. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
