Evelyn Josephine Rundell

Evelyn Josephine Rundell "Tootie", age 90, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, December 20, 2019.

Evelyn was born on April 29, 1929, to Arthur and Emma (Bolzman) Fritz. After graduating from high school, she married Wesley Rundell, Jr. on July 16, 1949 after he returned from WWII, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2017. She enjoyed sewing, painting, wall papering, painting ceramics, crafting, making jewelry, sun bathing, bowling, and wintering in Florida. Evelyn had a knack at taking care of plants, made the best apple pie and enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter. She was a faithful member of New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing.

Evelyn is survived by her; children: Alan J. (Luann) Rundell of Sebewaing and Wesley Arthur Rundell, III of Cape Coral, FL; and 3 grandchildren: Kendra A. (Justin) Hornbacher, Kelsey L. (Bradley) Chrcek, and Wesley Robert Rundell; & great granddaughter, Scarlett Chrcek.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Carol Rundell, and siblings: Oscar, Ernst, Victor Fritz, and Alice Faber.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

The funeral will be Monday, December 23, 2019, at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to New Salem Lutheran Church.
