Evelyn Margaret Weinlander

Evelyn Margaret Weinlander , age 91, of Sebewaing, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Burcham Hills Nursing Home in East Lansing.

Evelyn was born in Pigeon on May 2, 1932, to Wesley and Bernice (Haywood) Cove. She married Daniel J. Weinlander on February 24, 1951. He preceded her in death August 2000. She enjoyed farming with her husband. She also enjoyed golfing, bowling, card clubs, yard work, landscaping, playing dice, going on cruises, rock climbing, traveling with family to Mackinac Island and Port Austin,listening to Elvis, watching John Wayne, and being with her family.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Dan Weinlander; daughters-in-law: Janice Weinlander and Lori Toner; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons: Steve and Tom Weinlander; daughter, Lori Jo McClanahan; great grandson, Ian Mosser; daughter-in-law, Terri Weinlander; and sister, Eleanor Wachner.

A private burial service will be held at Northlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing. Brad Haist will be officiating.
