Finkbeiner, Everett Francis, age 92, of Redford, MI, formerly from Gagetown. He was born April 15, 1921 in Flint, MI, son of the late Gordon and Fannie (Hendrick) Finkbeiner. Passed away peacefully, February 11, 2014. Retired from Hoskins Manufacturing, after 35 years, in Detroit. United in marriage to Margaret Rose Leiterman, June 12, 1944, for 69 years at St. Agatha Catholic Church, Gagetown.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Rose (Leiterman) Finkbeiner; sons, David L. (Judy) Finkbeiner, of Portland; Everett J. (Debra) Finkbeiner, of Wixom. Grandchildren: Christopher, David, & Matthew Vowell, Tammi Rinnert & Debbie McClorey; Jackie, Joyce, Jeanne, Jimmy and numerous great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren. A sister, Evelynn (Finkbeiner) Goslin, of Gagetown, sister-in-laws: Anna, (Don) Kothe, Marian Hamlin, Katherine Avery, Lillian Retzler, brother-in-law, John Leiterman. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by son, Gerald Finkbeiner, of Gagetown, parents, Gordon and Fannie (Hendricks) Finkbeiner, a sister Vivian Agar, of Owendale.
Visitation will be at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Friday, February 14, 4 - 8 p.m. with a 7pm vigil service.
Service Saturday, February 15, at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 4618
South St., Gagetown, MI. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Interment will be at St. Agatha Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
