Evonne Carol Scott

Evonne Carol Scott of Caro, age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Covenant Health Care – Harrison with her daughter, Lisa and brother, Michael by her side. Evonne was born January 1, 1948 in Caro, the daughter of the late Vernard “Red” and Loretta (Robinson) Enos. She graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1966 and went on to work at Caro Regional Center as an Aide. Evonne continued her working career as an Aide at Highland Pines School, retiring after many dedicated years. She was a lifelong Moose Lodge member and in her younger years an avid bowler; Evonne was given the nickname “Fireball” for her quick throw, almost always ending in a strike. She had a passion for traveling, especially with her family. Taking vacations all over the country and even going on a cruise with thirty-five other family members, creating memories that were cherished by all. Evonne had a true zest for life and loved to have fun. She was there when you needed her and you could always count on a hand-made, marker and stickered card for every occasion. Evonne absolutely adored spending time with her grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren, they were the lights of her life. She had a beautiful flower garden and an immaculate yard, her happy place was tending to her flowers. Evonne was fiercely independent right until the very end. Her fierce, loving, and fun soul left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Evonne leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Lisa (Kerr) McCulloch; grandchildren, Robert Jacobs (Nicole), Jesse (Adrianna) McCulloch, and Kendra Kerr (Franklin); great-grandchildren, Kayden Jacobs, Cliff & Oreius McCulloch; brother, Michael Enos. In addition to her parents, Evonne was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Kerr; siblings, Sandra Enos, Roger Enos, LeeAnn Trisch, and Dennis Enos.

In keeping with Evonne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. The family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her service.
