Faye Elaine Hockmuth

Faye E. Hockmuth, 74, of Bay Port, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.

Faye was born April 25, 1947 in Pigeon to the late Oliver and Ruth (Einhardt) Schaaf. She graduated from Laker High School. She enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, quilting, crocheting and animals, especially her dogs.

She is survived by her children Roger House of Port Austin, Camilla (Dave) Maurer of Sebewaing, Lisa (Ron Brakenberry) Edler of Bad Axe and Brenda (Brad Cloutier) Hockmuth of Bay Port; grandchildren Amber and Brianne; and great-grandson Braadyn; and brother Jim (Nancy) Schaaf of Berne.

Funeral services will be 7:00pm Tuesday, June 1st at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 Tuesday.
