Faye Ozbat

Faye Ozbat, age 73 years, of Caro, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at St. Marys of Michigan, Saginaw. She was born on February 24, 1935 in Caro to the late Clayton Knowles and Dorothy (Mullin) Daniels. She lived much of her life in Caro and was a Caro High School graduate. Faye was a homemaker and mother, and later in life she attended Delta College and received her Associates Degree in General Studies. She enjoyed music and social activities, especially dancing. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Aaron (Cynthia) Ozbat of Prince George, Virginia, Denise (James) Trea of Smyrna, Tennessee, Craig Ozbat and special friend Jody Sprague of Owendale, Anthony Ozbat of Caro, Tamara (Daryl) Cummings of Caro; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two siblings, Eunice Louks of Caro and Gordon (Joy) Knowles of Caro; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, William Louks. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Chris Taylor facilitating. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Faye Ozbat family discretionary fund, c/o Anthony Ozbat.
