Flora Reimer

The former Flora Reimer was born on November 10, 1936 in Rock, Michigan. She died on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Caro Community Hospital. On October 31, 1953 Flora was united in marriage to Delmer Smith in Rock, Michigan. The Smiths moved from Rock to Flint, and in 1974 they moved to their residence in Indianfields Township. Flora was a homemaker and a power-shopper, and also enjoyed going to the casinos and eating out. Flora is survived by her husband, Delmer; five children and their spouses, Deborah (Wendell) Jackson of Caro, Noreen (Bob) Koski of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Carrie (Dave) Jerome of Queen Creek, Arizona, Randy (Robin) Smith of Caro, Lisa (Mark) McCully of East Jordan; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Geraldine (Ray) Carter, Earnest Reimer, Lavera Lacosse, Marlene Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Smith; and the remainder of her siblings. The funeral service will be held at the Indianfields Township Cemetery Chapel in Caro on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Patrick Robbins officiating. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Indianfields Township Cemetery Chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
