Florence M. Czarnecki, 92, of Caseville, died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro.
Florence was born April 7, 1926 in Ubly to the late Joseph and Susan (Peruski) Pawlowski. She moved to Detroit during World War II to work in a factory and while there met her husband. She married Walter J. Czarnecki June 22, 1946 at St. John Catholic Church in Ubly; he preceded her in death April 27, 2011.
She retired from Chrysler, Mopar Division. Having had a cottage in Caseville since 1965, she moved there permanently after retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, crafting, crocheting, taking care of the flowers in her garden and her the companionship of her dogs, especially Pixie.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce (Dennis) Anderson of Cass City; grandchildren Jeffrey and Janelle Anderson; brother Joseph (Dona) Pawlowski of St. Johns and sister Shirley (Jerry) Susalla of Warren. She was preceded in death by her siblings Ernest Pawlowski, Lillian Kosal and Rosemarie Cross.
A funeral mass will be 2:00pm Friday, June 1 st at St. Roch Catholic Church/OLPH with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in Caseville Twp Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-7 Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton.
Memorials may be made to Tuscola County Medical Care Community or the Alzheimer’s Association.
