Florence Dickinson

Florence Dickinson of Caro; age 90, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community. Florence was born June 22, 1932 in Filion, the daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Schultz) Bucholtz. She was united in marriage with Larry Dickinson on June 29, 1974 and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2003. Florence was employed as an executive secretary with Hercules, Inc. retiring in 1996 after 20 years of service. She was an active member of the Harbor Beach Lions Club, when able, and the Port Hope retirees. Florence loved to travel with her children and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are two children, Robert Kablaitis of Caro, Sandra Amend and husband, John, of Caro; three grandchildren, Nichole Laughery and husband, Kevin, of Clinton Township, Kristen Roemer and husband, Kevin, of Sebewaing, Shane Polega and wife, Lisa, of Caro; eight great-grandchildren, Ashton, Paige, Gracie, Landon, Jaxon, Liam, Paislee and Laken. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters; and one great-grandson, Hogan. In keeping with Florence's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Cameron Steele officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Tuscola County Medical Care Community.
