Florence Reinbold

Florence I. Reinbold, age 88 years, of Darbee Road, Caro, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Covenant Health Care - Harrison Campus in Saginaw. She was born on September 21, 1917, in Tuscola. The former Florence Kischnick married Erwin Reinbold on January 24, 1937 at St. Michaels Lutheran Church in Richville. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1981. Florence and Erwin began their married life in Blumfield Township of Saginaw County and moved to Section 16 in Caro in 1958. She was a loving mother, farm wife and devoted to her faith. She was a member of the Grace Evangelical Church and the Ladies Aid as well as the Lutheran Home Auxiliary. Florence was truly a devoted homemaker and never idle; always cooking, baking and canning. Florence was a beloved mother and is survived by her two children, Margaret (James) Van Petten of Fairgrove and Mike (Vicki) Reinbold of Caro; a daughter-in-law, Joanne Reinbold of Caro; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Edna Heinlein of Saginaw, two sisters-in-law; Arletha Kischnick and Arlene Reinbold; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, John and Vern Reinbold; her remaining siblings and spouses, Robert and Mildred Kischnick, Clarence Kischnick, Ervin and Anita Kischnick, Norman and Erma Kischnick, and Lillian and George Ruff; her in-laws and spouses, Harold Reinbold, Martin Reinbold, Leonard (Hilda)(Lillian) Reinbold, Erma (Julius) Gardey, Linda (Nelson) Utermark. The funeral will be held at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fairgrove on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Leonard Astrowski, Officiating. Burial will be at Blumfield Township Cemetery, Saginaw County. Visitation will be at Collon Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Home in Frankenmuth or the Gideons.
