Frances Swinton

Frances Swinton of Akron, age 61, passed away in Kinde on Monday, March 18, 2019. Frances was born July 28, 1957 in San Bernadino, California, the daughter of the late Dale and Doreen (Grimshaw) Torrey. She had been employed as a registered nurse at the Caro Regional Center for twenty years. Frances enjoyed knitting, animals, and fishing. Although she wasn't really a "people person," those close to her were very much loved. She is survived by two children, Angela Janson and her husband, James, of Reese, Jewel Swinton of Akron; and two granddaughters, Emma and Mea Roe. In keeping with Frances' wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
