Frank D. Lawrence, age 86, of Sebewaing, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Carriage House in Bay City.
Frank was born February 15, 1929, in Arrowsic, Maine, to the late David H. Lawrence and Delia E. (Davis) Lawrence. He is a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Japan. Frank married Loraine Murray and Reatha (Kivel) Lawrence. They both preceded him in death.. He is a retired welder from Tower Industries in Sebewaing. He enjoyed cars and collecting junk.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Rosemary (Joel) Johnson of Jamestown, KY; step son, Gerald (Ann) Burzyck of Roscommon, MI; dearest friend, Ruth Nimtz of Sebewaing; grandchildren: Alena (Billy) Thurman, Chad (Tangle) Johnson, Jesse (Rachel) Johnson, Deborah (Dana) Reynolds, David (Myrtle) Burzyck and Barbara (Crayton) Woods; and 10 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 2 wives; his sister, Doris Greene; and great grandson, Joel Douglas.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-4pm.
The funeral service will be Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the funeral home at 4pm. Kathy Swartzendruber from Community of Christ Church in Bay Port will be officiating.
Burial will take place following the service at Assembly of God Cemetery in Sebewaing.
Memorial donations may be given to the Sebewaing American Legion or the Sebewaing Sportsman's VFW.
