Frank A. Mitchell

Frank A. Mitchell of Caro, age 58, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Corbin, Kentucky while visiting family. Frank was born March 1, 1957 in Caro, the son of the late Frank William & Lila Alma (Wilton) Mitchell. He was a "Jack of All Trades" that could fix practically anything. He worked in small engine repair, lawn care, metal scrapping and as a handyman around the area. Frank was an honest and spirited man that could be counted on to speak his mind. He loved many and leaves countless stories that will be long remembered. Left to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Regina Marr of Caro; nine children, Debra Rulason, Tammy Willson, Brandy Ness, Lena Watson, Sandra, Frank, Matthew and Cassandra Mitchell, Sabrina Blackmer, and David Mitchell; two step-children, Joe Spencer and J.R. Woodley; twenty grandchildren and more expected; his step-mother, Marion Mitchell; several siblings; many nieces and nephews including special nieces and nephews, Nellie & Shawn Keskes and Alma & James Barton. Frank was preceded in death by his siblings, Lila Woodley, "Fat" Patty Hatfield and Gary Mitchell; his best friend, Anthony "Tony" Brewer. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
