Frank Palermo

Frank Palermo of Reese, age 54, our amazing, generous, selfless, and loving father, son, soul mate, papa, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Frank was born on July 13, 1967 in Detroit, the son of Frank and Joan (Nicholson) Palermo. Frank graduated Palo Verde high school and went on to attend the University of Arizona. He was a very skilled Electrician and was very proud to work for the IBEW, Local 58. In the summer of 2012, Frank met the love of his life, Karin Yorks. Together they shared nearly ten wonderful years and countless memories. Frank loved spending time with his loved ones, having beach BBQs, and always making sure everyone had enough to eat. His homemade spaghetti sauce was un-matched, even if it did take all day to make. Frank was a die-hard Detroit sports fan and loved watching any game that was on. He enjoyed collecting comic books and movies. When you called Frank, you could always count on him answering the phone with, "What is going on?!" He loved everyone and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Frank's zest for life and infectious smile will be missed for generations to come. But, as Frank would also say, "Have a Happy." Frank leaves to cherish his memory, his loving children, Lance & Lindsay Gordon, Taylor Palermo, and Shay Palermo & fianc, Carlos Diaz; fianc' & soulmate, Karin Yorks; his mother & step-father who was a father to Frank, Joan & Joseph Santana; bonus children, Erika & Luke Kitchen, Laiken & Keegan Allor, Christal & Barry Willson, and Samantha Brandana; he was the most loving Papa to Desmond Gordon, Kyleigh Schoonover, Laila, Gianna, Lilyanna, & Olivia Diaz, Aubriella "Boogs" Kitchen, Cali Kitchen, Addilyn Allor, Caleb & James Behm, David, Bailey, & Odin Willson, and Avalynn & Remington Davis; brothers, Vince & Glenda Palermo and Iggy Palermo; nephews, Vincent godfather, Vincent Palermo; uncles, Ignatius Palermo, Douglas Damon, Christopher Damon and William Nicholson; aunts, Tammy Leventis, Rosemary, Josephine and Carol; cousins, Autumn & Megan Wonnacott and Zachery Damon; along with many friends. Frank was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Frank; son, Frank Palermo, Jr.; stepfather, Joseph Santana; grandparents, Ignatius & Catherine (Marino) Palermo, Donna Damon, and William Nicholson; best friend, Javier Valencia; and uncles, Greg Damon, Thomas Nicholson and Ronald Nicholson. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. Fr. T.J. Flemming will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow at St. Denis Cemetery in Lexington. Frank's family will be present to receive visitors on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Ceremony.
