Frank Prill age 56, of Pigeon formerly of Bad Axe died Sunday afternoon at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born November 3, 1954 in Bad Axe to the late Albert and Ethel (Soper) Prill. Frank was a 1973 graduate of Bad Axe High School. Shortly after three years after high school he joined the US Army. When he returned from service he was employed at Berne Enterprises. He moved to St Clair Shores and was employed at a foundry there for over 15 years. He made his way back to Huron County retiring in 2008 for health reasons.
He was an avid fisherman and lived being out of doors.
Surviving are three children, Angie Lyman of Pigeon, Kathy Hawthorne of Caseville and Franklin Prill of Greer, SC; three sisters, Lavina (Don) Mussall of Monterey, TN, Birdie (Rich) Heintz of Pigeon and Joann (Chris) Essenmacher of Carsonville.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, William and Doug Cove and two sisters, Judy Craig and Roselee Prill. Funeral services for will be 5:00 PM Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
