Frank J. Samborski, age 88, of Caseville, formerly of Florida and Tennessee, died at his home on Friday, June 3, 2005 while under hospice care.
Frank was born September 12, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Andrew and Elona (Zachorcis) Samborski. He served in the US Army in Europe during WWII. Frank married Mary Lipin who died in 1969. He then married Edna Wilson who died in 1994. Frank was a milkman for Brickley Dairy in Detroit for many years and retired from Cross Manufacturing in Fraser. After retirement, Frank lived in Florida and Tennessee. He enjoyed traveling and fishing. He moved to Caseville in 2003 to be near his family when his health began to decline.
Frank is survived by his Daughter Madeline (Leonard) Skikiewicz of Mt. Clemens and Norman (Joann) Samborski of Caseville; grandchildren Tim, Elaine, Julie, Brian, Paul and Mark; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Anthony Samborski of Mt. Clemens.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, wife Edna, sister Katherine Drager and brother Paul Samborski.
A funeral Mass will be at 4:00 PM Monday at St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville, Fr. Ken Jaroch presiding. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Visitation will be from 1-4 Monday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Caseville. Memorials may be made to the St. Roch Building Fund.
