Frederick Enos

Frederick Enos, age 62, of Caro passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Covenant Harrison in Saginaw after a brief illness. He was born on December 18, 1946 in Caro to the late Norval and Nona (Copron) Enos. Fred was a lifelong resident of Caro. He married the former Elizabeth (Ackerman) Audinet on March 29, 1969 in Caro. She preceded him in death on October 7, 1999. Fred attended Caro High School and for 30 years he was employed at the Michigan Sugar Company. In season, he enjoyed weekly trips to the Owendale Speedway with his grandson, Garrett. He is survived by his siblings, Larry (Margo) Enos of Vassar, Jeff (Bernadette) Enos of Bradenton, Florida, Vicki Marsh and Dawn Jameson of Caro; sister-in-law, Pamela Enos of Phoenix, Arizonia; step-children, Mary Ann Cutler, Marsha (James) Kurtansky, Betty (David) Kontak, Sandra Lowery, Leland (Lori) Audinet, Elaine Thompson, Cindy (Paul) Hallead, Patty (Eric) Henderickson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Enos; and step-children, Richard and Judith Ackerman. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Thursday, January 1, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
