Frederick Madison Haley, 71, of Elkton passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Select Medical Hospital in Saginaw.

Fred was born December 5, 1950 in Cass City to the late Aaron and Evelyn (Schember) Haley. He graduated from Owen-Gage High School in 1969. On July 4, 1970 he married Sandra Richmond at Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon.

Fred began working for farmers at the age of 12. He ended his career retiring from Tower Automotive in 2017 as a Hi-Lo driver. Fred was perfectly content at his home with the things he treasured most, his wife, family, yard and cattle he cared for so meticulously. He looked forward to his weekly coffee club, afternoon drives, playing cards, doing puzzles and watching his favorite TV shows.

Fred is survived by his wife Sandra; children Teresa (Jim) Roestel of Battle Creek, Melissa (Mike) Krull of White Pigeon and Bryce (Beth) of Richfield, Wisconsin; grandchildren Haley (Hunter), Austin, Noah (Bre), Madison, Ella and Ruby; siblings Ervin, Judy Milton, Jewel, Ronald, and Anson (Melanie). He was preceded in death by his siblings Lois Rousse, Ivan, Ernie, Edward and Ennis.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, May 13th at Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon with Rev. Glenn Sokolowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be 2-8pm Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon.

Memorials may be made to Cross Lutheran Church.
