Frederick Carl Langley

Frederick Carl Langley, 90, a lifelong Caseville resident died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Fred was born April 15, 1924 in Caseville to the late Vern and Mary (Cobb) Langley. He served in the US Coast Guard during World War II. On August 30, 1947 he married Leona Beadle at St. Felix Catholic Church in Pinnebog.

Fred worked as a residential builder, building countless homes around the Caseville area. He was a life member of the Pigeon VFW and a former member of the Caseville American Legion.

He is survived by his wife Leona; son Charles (Susan) of Caseville and daughter Cynthia (Ray) Perrone of Massachusetts; grandchildren Kimberly, James, Michelle and Michael; and sister Fern McCreedy of Cass City. He was preceded in death by his brothers Eugene and Edward.

A memorial mass will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, Sept. 30th at St. Roch-OLPH Catholic Church in Caseville with Fr. Robert Pare presiding.

Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the St. Roch-OLPH Building Fund.
